Automated blog security explained in plain words
Letting a tool publish to your website is a real decision. This page explains, in plain words, what AutomatedBlog reads, what it stores, who can do what in your account, and how you stay in control at every step.
01
We read the public pages of your site
To write posts that fit your business, AutomatedBlog reads the pages anyone can see on your website. That is how it learns your services, products, tone and the facts it may use.
- Public pages, products and collections.
- Your existing blog posts, categories and tags.
- The brand rules, banned topics and words to avoid that you give us.
We do not need access to your customer lists, orders or private admin data to write posts.
02
Connection details are stored encrypted
To publish, AutomatedBlog needs permission to create posts on your site. You give that permission through a plugin, an application password, an app approval or a key, depending on your platform.
- We ask only for the permission needed to create and update posts.
- Connection details are stored encrypted.
- You can disconnect any site at any time from your account.
- You can also revoke access from your own platform admin.
Once you disconnect, AutomatedBlog can no longer publish to that site. See how each platform connects on blog automation integrations.
03
The posts are yours
Every post AutomatedBlog writes for you belongs to you. It stays on your site if you pause, change plans or cancel.
- You own the text and images published to your site.
- You can edit or delete any post on your platform.
- Deleting a post does not give the monthly slot back. Slots reset each billing period.
- Facts in posts come only from your own pages and brand rules.
- A safety review checks each post before it goes out.
04
Control who can change what
Larger teams need clear roles. AutomatedBlog gives them on the higher plans.
- Pro includes roles for 3 team members, and Pro and Enterprise add an optional approval workflow before publishing.
- Enterprise includes roles without limit.
- Enterprise adds SSO, so your team signs in with your company account.
- Enterprise adds an audit log that shows who changed settings, calendars and posts.
- API keys on Enterprise are shown once, stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time.

Ask us anything about your data
Have a question about how your site or your data is handled? Write to [email protected] and we answer by email. You can also read our privacy policy and terms. To see what a plan includes, visit autoblogging pricing.
07
Can AutomatedBlog change pages other than my blog?
No. It only asks for permission to create and update blog posts. It reads your public pages to link to them, but it does not edit them.
What happens to my connection if I cancel?
The autopilot stops at the end of your paid period, and you can disconnect your sites at any time. Your published posts stay on your site.
Which plan has SSO and an audit log?
SSO and the audit log are part of the Enterprise plan, together with roles without limit and API access.
